bismillah arahman araheem
they say with great power comes great responsibility
i say with power comes trips and vulnerability
egos hunting for sumat taller to speak from
people to listen to them and respect them
people to fight their battles and entertain them
memories erased or just moved to humor sections
provoke and taint them when they blank em
nothing against the self righteous or the self proclaimed sinners
everyone builds up their own reward and sin
who knows if they repent to god every night or if they dont
people looking down on on others just cause they wont
brothers dying in vain, sisters crying in pain
brothers imprisoned, while others are slain
some running their mouth, the same ones that run away
brothers backstabbing others, its all part of the survey
brothers calling each other names, the sect war becoming a game
brothers looking down on the non practising even as they work for the government
i rather embrace an alcoholic adulerating brother then a snitch
that's the definition of sumat that rhymes but il abstain and not play 'truant'.

Re: NEVER ENDING POETRY
What if I have no faith in my poetry?
I write, but I never think it's up to standard as to be made public. And the thought of it gives me chills, it's like someone is peering into you, your brain, your soul.
Going public is a scary thing, more like being naked.

i aint nomore got teenage insecurities
but now i aint chase gyal or the dro
no more genie sims, i got free minutes now

people come and people go
when u aint who u used to be

scanning the road before you cross it
once bitten twice shy, some roads are closed off
or just deja vu for when you go soft
your bus stop there aint there nomore
in its place is a dead rose planted in the road

Re: NEVER ENDING POETRY
Every time I read the title of this thread, I for some reason assume it's pottery,
oh it's poetry.
oh it's poetry.
