we all know EVERY culture has its flaws

but whats the best thing about yours??

i'm Pakistani and i'd say the best thing about that culture would be...................

biryani. chicken biryani.

okay, well i'll try sum it all up without mentioning the flaws ^^

I'm also Pakistani - (and i LOVE chicken biryani) - but apart from that, i think the whole atmosphere is what gets me. but here is the best things about my british pakistani culture...
1. foood! ♥
2. clothes - lengas, churidaars, bangles - the lot
3. the fact that it seems as if every other asian on the planet is your cousin :L
4. how i get invited to at least two weddings a year
5. MEHNDI!
6. riding on the back of a motorbike in pakistan
7. talking to your mates about john abraham
8. bhangra ftw!
9. speaking a "secret language" when you wanna say something in public!
10. it generally has a really exciting and peaceful atmosphere

so yeah - that's what i think

I'm Nigerian, and the best thing about Nigerian culture is the food and the clothes.

Food: There's this boiled bean dish called moyin-moyin and it's like a party in your mouth. Also, my mother makes this stew with turkeys that I would kill for. Also, plantains--they can be cooked in a million ways and eaten with everything (although not ketchup. gross.)

Clothes: Like, ohmigoodness, the BEST outfits come from Nigeria. I've seen some pretty awesome outfits from the subcontinent, but nothing beats what women wear at parties. The best headdresses look like woven starlight and can be a foot high. When friends go together, sometimes they come in matching blouses and wraps and look utterly amazing. Even the men dress up. Everyone is in really bright or powerful colors and it. is. awesome.

Of course, we do have our flaws, but I don't even need to mention the emails we've all gotten :/

Oh well.

I cannot think of anything positive of the "pakistani" culture, heck the name is even a lie.
If someone could convert me to pakistanism (let alone cultures)... then of course, I may see some positive views.

I'm Pakistani too and btw I also <3 chicken biryani..I'm making it today ;D
I'd say the best thing about my culture is the fashion: traditional shalwar kameez, heavy embroided lenga's, stylish sandals with beads and diamonds on.. all fabulous!
