What do you think of Reality TV Shows? Are they completely pointless or quite entertaining? Do you think it depends on the type of show, for example, is there a difference between The X Factor and Big Brother?

I haven't watched Big Brother since Pete and Jade's year.. (i think those were the names aha) but watch The X Factor every year.

I find things like The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent kind of entertaining but things like Big Brother... bleghh.

i think reality tv shows are another guilty vice, we watch them to feel connected with people from a distance - sometimes see something of ourselves in them and their struggles, but also to feel good about ourselves, life and status
