Winner - Faith through your lens competition

Congratulations to Zahra Fartousi who was named winner of our Faith through your lens competition!

Zahra entered in the category Faith and your identity with a beautiful photograph captioned 'The shadow of faith.' Here she describes the concept behind her photograph:

Faith is something that must be expressed. For me art is a form of self expression. Hence I find that I can express my inner emotions through painting. And I believe that's where faith lies; deep, hidden amongst other emotions, yet invariably the most self seeking of emotions. Through this photo I wanted to show that faith comes in different forms and expressions to each individual and how we portray that varies, but it is inevitably one. Thus, I began the painting with 'In the name of God, the Beneficient, the Merciful.'"

Unfortunately, as we did not receive enough entries in each category, we are only able to announce one overall winner. Special mentions go out to Imran Ali and Jaffrin Khan, who the judges thought did exceptionally well too!
